Thank you so much for putting together this webpage, and for hosting so many events in honor of Anne Bradstreet. Unfortunately, my interest in this pioneer has only developed recently. (And, similar to Dr. Kline, my interests have been in biology, but unlike Dr. Kline, mine have mostly stayed there!)

Do you have any other events planned where I might get a better feel for Anne Bradstreet's life and works?

Thank for your time.

Peace, Phil

I just found this site and want to thank you all for recognizing Anne Dudley Bradstreet in this special way - 400 years. Wish I had been there to help you celebrate. She is my 10th great grandmother and I am trying to learn everything I can about her!

Hi there,

I am an Irish student, currently writing my MA thesis on Anne Bradstreet. I am very interested both in contacting Karen Kline, and in speaking to anyone involved with this year's celebrations. I am particularly intrigued by the statement above that, "[f]or two hundred years or more school children read this poet’s words"; it would greatly help my work to find out more about any possible links between Bradstreet and children's culture and/or education.

Please don't hesitate to contact me, I would be so grateful if anyone could broaden my knowledge of this remarkable woman.

Thank you,

Lynn Harding
